Day 1: Arrive at Ham Hill
You make your own way to Ham Hill. We can assist with coach or train transfers if necessary. Car parking is available for the duration of this Dorset walk.

Day 2: Ham Hill to Misterton.    8 miles    moderate
Explore one of Europe's largest iron age hill forts at Ham Hill before setting off on this walking holiday. In the sleepy villages along the route the buildings are made of the golden coloured local Ham Stone.

Day 3: Misterton to Marshwood.    12 miles   moderate
Stroll through the rolling countryside and take in the views. Clapton Court Gardens near Wayford are one of Somerset's most interesting and beautiful gardens. Forde Abbey on the curve of the River Axe, originally a Cistercian Monastery, has an award winning garden. Here Dorset's Jubilee Trail crosses the Liberty Trail.

Day 4: Marshwood to Lyme Regis.    8 miles   moderate
Today you walk passed two more Iron Age Hill Forts, Lambert's Castle and Coney's Castle. You can see as far as Chesil Beach and Portland Bill. There is lots to explore in Lyme Regis, a location popular with film makers. Stroll along the Cobb or hunt for fossils on the Jurassic Coast. You can extend the walk along the South West Coast Path.

Day 5: Depart after breakfast This walking holiday in the UK operates year round and in either direction.
Short walking breaks are also available, with 2 or 3 days walking. Just select the part of the path you want to walk.
