Then you walk for 3 days on Arran, known as Scotland in Miniature because the scenery has all that the whole of Scotland is famous for: dramatic coastlines, glens, rolling pastures and mountains (highest 950m).
The clean waters and air have made this area a classic location for many famous malts, such names as Oban, Isle of Jura, Bunnahahain, Bruichladdich, Laphroaic, Ardbeg, Bowmore to name but a few.
Day 1: Arrive Oban
To start this walking holiday on the islands of the Southern Hebrides you arrive at Oban to take the ferry to Islay. You stay overnight in Port Askaig.
