Walking holiday on Shakespeare's Way from Statford-upon-Avon to Globe Theatre, London
The route starts at Stratford-upon-Avon, William Shakespeare's birthplace, home to Anne Hathaway's cottage and the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
You walk through the Cotswolds, to Blenheim Palace and Woodstock, joining the Thames near Oxford. Then you walk through the Chilterns to Marlow, Cookham and Iver. On approaching London you pass the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and Chiswick before going through the heart of London at Westminster. You finish your walk at the Globe Theatre on the Thames in London.

You can walk this wonderful trail over 14 days at about 10 miles per day. If you do not have a fortnight available, you can walk it in 2 separate weeks: from Stratford-upon-Avon to Oxford, and from Oxford to London. If you would like to walk longer or shorter distances, we can arrange that too. Which ever you choose, we organize the luggage transfer so your bags are at your next accommodation when you arrive.

In acknowledgement of this and in keeping with our Company eithics, we will make a donation of £20 for every one of our holidays booked to the Shakespeare Hospice in Stratford-upon-Avon, registered charity 1064091.
We would also encourage walkers to consider a donation, or perhaps obtaining sponsorship.
