Walking holiday on Wales Coast Path Porthmadog to Machynlleth Our walking tour of this section of the Wales Coast Path follows 68 miles of this clearly way-marked long-distance hiking trail from Porthmadog to Machynlleth. The walking route passes through small fishing villages, past river estuaries and along miles of sandy beaches as it skirts the Snowdonia National Park.
Highlights include the unusual Mediterranean inspired village of Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, and the River Mawddach Estuary.
