Day 1: Arrive
at Angle
To start your walking holiday on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path you arrive
at Angle.
You begin walking today around Angle Bay and then the path goes in front of Roscrowther oil refinery and along by the Pembroke River estuary before heading into Pembroke with its impressive and well-preserved 11th century Pembroke Castle.
Leaving Pembroke you cross the River Pembroke via Monkton Bridge and walk along the north side of the estuary to Pembroke Dock where there is plenty of Naval architecture to see. You cross The Haven via Cleddau Bridge and make you way through Neyland to Hazelbeach
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path leaves Hazelbeach going in front on the Dragon liquefied natural gas plant to Milford Haven town. Then the path goes in front on South Hook liquefied natural gas plant into the quiet village of Herbrandston.
or continue on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path on the north section from Herbrandston to Cardigan.

Our stated distances include mileage to the accommodation or pickup point and so may not agree with the guide book mileages. Rest days can be taken in any location.
