Day 1: Arrive Douglas, Isle of Man    
You start this hiking tour on the Isle of Man by arriving in Douglas. There are ferry services from Liverpool and Heysham, or you can fly into Isle of Man airport.
Walking Holiday on Isle of Man Day 2: Douglas to Castletown    16 miles, moderate   Max height gain 300ft
You start walking on the Raad NY Foillan by heading south from Douglas along the cliff top. At Port Soderick the route goes briefly inland through Port Soderick Glen then back to the coast around to Port Grenaugh, Port Soldrick and Derbyhaven. You overnight at Castletown on the south coast.
Day 3: Castletown to Port Erin    14 miles, moderate   Max height gain 400ft
Your hiking today starts out around Scarlett Point and then along Carrick Bay to Port St Mary. Then around Kallow Point to Black Head and Spanish Head from where you can see the Calf of Man. The walking route continues along the cliff tops to Port Erin on the west coast. There are optional inland walks to the Cregneash Folk Village.

Peel on Walking holiday on Isle of Man Day 4: Port Erin to Peel    14.5 miles, strenuous    Max height gain 1,434ft
Leaving Port Erin you climb around Bradda Hill and up on to the high ground at Carnanes. A stunning coastal walk along the undulating cliff tops via the hamlet of Dalby and Glen Maye. You overnight at the interesting seaside town of Peel which has a great castle and beach.
Optional Day 1: Day exploring Peel or simply have a rest day
Day 5: Peel to Douglas    10 miles, easy
An easy walk across the centre of the Isle of Man along the Steam Heritage Trail. You can visit Tynwald Hill and Arboretum at St Johns.

Walk the Millennium Way on Isle of Man with Let's Go Walking Day 6: Douglas to Ramsey    16.5 miles, moderate     Max height gain 1,500ft
A glorious moorland walk along the spine of the Isle of Man along the Millennium Way. You walk around the slopes of Snaefell and there is an option to walk to the summit or take the electric train.
Day 7: Ramsey to Laxey    13 miles, moderate  Max height gain 650ft
From Ramsey the Isle of Man Coastal Footpath resumes the cliff top around Maughold Head. The walking route turns briefly inland so that you can enjoy walking in Ballaglass Glen, Glen Mona and Dhoon Glen. You overnight at Laxey where the world famous Laxey Wheel is worth a visit.

Optional Day 2: Day exploring Laxey
Take an optional extra day to visit the Laxey Wheel and take the Snaefell Mountain Railway from Laxey to the top of Snaefell, the highest point on the Isle of Man at 621 metres (2,037 ft).

Day 8: Laxey to Douglas   9.5 miles, moderate   Max height gain 350ft  
On your final day on the Raad nyFoillan you are walking through undulating countryside and farmland along Laxey Bay, around Clay Head and back to Douglas.
Day 9: Depart Douglas, Isle of Man
You depart after breakfast, or spend some time exploring.
This walking holiday on this wonderful coastal path of the Isle of Man can be walked over 7 days at about 14 miles per day. Why not take a rest day, explore the wonderful beaches or the many inland paths. We include your luggage transfers so all you have to do is enjoy this superb coastal walk.
